The inspector came back and found the problems fixed.

Problems from the first visit still weren't fixed, so the inspector recommended formal action by the state, which can include fines.

• Food protection and cross-contamination
  • Basic: Employee personal food not properly identified and segregated from food to be served to the public. Observed employees food stored over food for customers in the walk in cooler. Operator stored properly.
• Food-contact surfaces designed and maintained
  • Basic: Ice buildup in walk-in freezer.
• Clean equipment storage and air drying
  • Basic: Clean glasses, cups, bowls, plates, pots and pans not stored inverted or in a protected manner. Observed ice bucket not stored inverted. Operator stored properly.
• Plumbing and backflow prevention
  • Basic: Plumbing system in disrepair. Observed right Coca Cola machine leaking onto the floor.
  • Basic: Water leaking from pipe and/or faucet/handle. Observed faucet at the handwashing sink by the dishwashing area leaking.
• Insects, rodents, pests and animals
  • High priority: Live, small flying insects found. Observed approximately 4 small flying insects by the dish rack landing on walls and clean dishes. Observed approximately 4 small flying insects in the dry storage area landing on boxes and walls. Observed approximately 3 small flying insects in the milkshake station landing on walls, single use cups and computers. Observed approximately 15 small flying insects by the ice machine landing on walls and grease trap.
  • Basic: Fly sticky tape hanging over food/food preparation area/food-contact equipment. Observed fly sticky tape stored over not inverted ice bucket. Operator removed sticky tape.
