Code 55, Automatic gratuity notice: Establishment charging operational charges without properly disclosing the information on the menu/web/app and the bill/receipt.
Upon arrival operational charges were not broken down on the private dining guide listed on the website. The current contract and reservation form did show a break down of operations charges but wording was not sufficient . The Final receipt did not show line by line break down of operations charges. Staff did make changes to the printed private dining guide, reservation form, and presented updated documents to us. They also submitted updates for the online private dining guide and we were able to view the updated document the on the Cala Bella website. In addition, we had a discussion with a member of the finance department to update point of sale bill and receipt to be in accordance with the statue but updated documents were not able to be provided prior to the end of inspection.
